I admit it. My plans have gone awry. I had plans to save lots of money and build my son's new bed. Yes, they were great plans and I was so close to buying the supplies. A couple hundred dollars and some manual labor and .....
I, of course, ran across a captain's bed for a freakishly low price and...well....I bought it! Really! It was far less then what it would have cost to build it.
Oh the shame! OK, not really but I was "kind of" looking forward to the challenge. I will keep the door open to build a set of shelves to house some of the mountain of toys that live in Max's room but for now I will be content to put together a pre-made bed from a box. Sometimes, the simple way is the way to go.
