In the wake of Superstorm Sandy, the east coast is left to clean up and rise out of the wake that Sandy left behind.
Governor Cuomo said it best when he was talking to Rachel Maddow on Thursday, November 1. Cuomo said "We can argue about the cause for the weather change and we can argue about whether the cause was human behavior or a natural cycle of weather patterns, but you can't argue about the effect. The effect is real and the effect is inarguable." In other words, as the you stand and watch the water pour over the levies you can fight about why it is happening but it is still happening.
Global warming may be a natural phenomenon or it may be man made but regardless of why it is happening, it IS happening. What we need to do is learn all we can about what is going on and what we can possibly do to change it.
Learn about global warming.
To everyone on the battered east coast...
