Yes, I am speaking of the 'Holiday card". I always, always have big plans for how I am going to get really organized and take a picture and have the cards made and sent out to everyone we know BEFORE the holidays. Right now, I am down but not out! Here is why...
1. I waited too long to get a picture so I can't get the cool photo cards that are glossy and inviting. Well, I guess I could but they would arrive too late to go out before February.
2. Actually, I haven't got a picture at all. There I admitted it. I keep trying to motivate everyone but I have, to date, been fairly unsuccessful with this endeavor.
3. My husband is a musician so he is gone when I could actually take a picture. It might be just Max again this year. I am not a Photoshop owner so I am not well versed in cut and paste or I would just add my hubby in after the fact. Maybe even dress him up a little.
4. I have a picture of my butt that Max took the other day and I only thought of sending that out for about 3 minutes. If you are surprised by the 3 minute duration of my contemplation, you can feel where I am about now.
5. I haven't even gotten organized enough to decorate the entire christmas tree. I have it 3/4 of the way there but there are a lot of ornaments that are sitting idol on the dining table. "Hey, what about us!?"
3. My email account got hacked earlier this year and I haven't figured out how to print labels off of my new account. So, no address labels yet. Don't judge! I am working on it.
7. Don't even ask about holiday gift shopping. No really, don't ask.OK, I think that is enough. I am going to go and drink a margarita, relax, and not worry about this whole thing. Tomorrow is another day and I am bound and determined to finish all of this holiday stuff. To all of you who are in the same predicament, Woot, Woot! I am getting psyched up for this. OK, I am done. Where is my margarita?
