Facile Friday - The stool

I was on vacation so I really didn't think of a cool Facile Friday post.  Speaking of cool, how about the Caribbean?


I got this most excellent old step stool at a garage sale here in Racine.  It is one of those places where they have an entire garage or two that are dedicated to items that they sell.  All they have to do is open the doors and they are having a sale.

Now, I forgot to take pictures of the stool before I painted it a cool Caribbean blue but it was an ugly 70 year old dirty white color.  I wasn't trying to make it look brand new so I left all of the chips and bumps when I painted over it.  I love this stool!  Now, I love it even more with it's new color.  My favorite part of this stool are the tuck away steps.  They just don't make them like this anymore.
